What is Unified Payment Interface?

UPI is a payment system that allows FUND transfer between ONE BANK TO ANOTHER BANK accounts by using a smartphone.(ANDROID phone,IOS phone etc).

Registration in UPI enabled application:

User can downloads the UPI application from the App Store(google play store) or Banks website.

User creates his/ her profile by entering details like name, virtual id (xxxxxxx@yyybank), password etc.

User goes to “Add/Link/Manage Bank Account” option and links the bank name and account number with the virtual id.
